About Myron

Myron D. Erstad is a life long resident of southern Minnesota. He is a graduate of South Dakota State in Brookings, SD with a BS in Ag Business and a BA in Commercial Economics.

After an extensive career in banking, Myron joined EFS in 2004.

Myron specializes in estate, financial, retirement and long-term care planning. He has given several informational workshops, focusing on Senior Financial Strategies.

Myron is married to Laurie and they have three children Nathan, Brittany, and Ryan. His biggest joy is his family. He has especially enjoyed being closely involved in their activities as a coach for their sports teams and a leader in their church youth groups. Outside of time spent with family, Myron enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, and playing softball and basketball.

Myron is also very active in the local community, having served in various capacities at Evangelical Covenant Church, the Southern Chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Mankato Downtown Kiwanis Club. He has been a volunteer fundraiser for South Central College, Mankato Area United Way, Bethany Lutheran College, the Mankato YMCA, and the Boy Scouts of America, as well as serving on youth sports boards.
